Is your child going to start Kindergarten at Nimitz in 2007? if so, then you and your child are invited to join the Nimitz Kinder Playgroup 2007. Created and sponsored by the Nimitz PTA, the Playgroup will meet weekends beginning about 6 weeks prior to the start of school in the Fall. Participation is purely voluntary and free of charge. Sessions are intended to allow kids to meet and make new friends, and parents to network with each other. Kids who attend playgroup with their classmates are usually much less anxious when school starts in the Fall. Schedule Kinder Playgroup sessions will be held weekly on Saturdays from 10:30am - noon beginning July 21 - August 18, 2007. Location will be outside at the Nimitz Kinder Playground area. In addition, Nimitz School is sponsoring All School play dates on Tuesday Aug 7th 1 - 3pm, and Wednesday Aug 15th 10am - noon for all grades. Date (2007) Time July 21 10:30am - noon July 28 10:30am - noon August 4 10:30am - noon *August 7 1pm - 3pm August 11 10:30am - noon *August 15 10am - noon August 18 10:30am - noon * Play dates for all grades - students may want to bring a snack and if the weather is hot, students should plan on getting wet.
